BREAKING NEWS

Neil Lennon, staying at Celtic!

Despite reported interest from Sunderland, Neil will remain a bhoy and has let it be known he has been reassured he is very much a part of Manager Gordon Strachan's plans.

Meanwhile, if reports are correct, Stand Varga and Ross Wallace have joined the Black Cats for a reported combined £800,000

Shalrie Joseph, Grenada-Born player from New England Revolution on Celtic wanted list.

MLS hold their players contracts in the USA. Celtic reportedly bid $1million for the player who impressed in the pre-season friendly between the clubs. MLS has turned down the bid as they are in mid-season. The player wants to join Celtic. If we can't get him now, the January transfer window is a possibility.

Here's hoping!

New away Celtic Jersey

Took My wife and daughter to sunny Berwick Upon Tweed today. I wasn't really feeling up to it. I'm the driver so I agreed to take them, on condition they bought me a football (my daughter's lurcher killed my last ball!).

Berwick is a beautiful walled town, and was reputed to be the richest sea port in Scotland at one time. Although, claimed by the English, the town was once the seat of Scottish kings. The best approach to the town is from the west (Chirnside route). From the side of Hallydon Hill, Berwick can be seen nestling by the mouth of the silvery Tweed. Lots to say about Berwick, it's walls, pier, quaysides, bridges, buildings, beaches, and friendly people!

We visited the sports shop, as agreed! My eye caught the new Celtic away jersey (official release midnight tonight!). One XXL jersey duly purchased for a knock-down £31.99!

Midnight tonight is also the close of the football transfer window. Celtic have done brilliantly in the transfer market, signing Jan Venegoor of Hesselink and Thomas Graveson, and selling Stillian Petrov for £8 million.

Celtic old bhoys Martin O'Neill (Aston Villa) and Roy Keane (Sunderland)will no doubt be after more Celts before the end of the day. Keane reportedly wants our captain Neil Lennon, as well as Ross Wallace, Stephen Pearson, and Stan Varga.

We are being linked with Wayne Bridge (Chelsea) and Kromkamp (Liverpool), as well as Hartley (Hearts) and Hibernian pair Brown and Thompson.

I hope we keep Lennon and Pearson! I hope we sign at least one experienced central defender!

Need I say more!

Well, perhaps tomorrow!

Onwards Celtic!

Celticnavigator calling!

It's harvest time in beautiful Berwickshire. Went for a drive with the family. Crossed the Lammermuir Hills from Cockburnspath to Duns. Incredible views on all sides; the Firth of Forth and Fife to the north and westward to the Lothians; the Merse (Berwickshire farmlands) southward to the Cheviot Hills and England; and the North Sea to the east.

Stopped at the Whiteadder Reservoir. Water much lower due to an unusually long dry summer. Enough water for a sailing dinghy or two.

Purple heather under bright blue skies. Pheasants and grouse abundant. Black-faced sheep everywhere.

Returned home to the news Celtic Football Club had signed Danish International Thomas Graveson from Real Madrid! Very happy about this!

I've followed Celtic for as long as I remember. I was seven when Celtic won the European Cup(1967), and often accompanied my dad to see the Lisbon Lions and Quality street Kids at Celtic Park (if you look at the trophy, you will see Celtic FC!)

Things are looking up for the Bhoys, and we look forward to beating Manchester United, Copenhagen and Benfica in the Champions League!

This is my first attempt a blog. More to follow!
